Water is already very captivating in its purest form. While Dubai does have some great Marinas and bays from which you can see the gleaming waters of the sea, there is something captivating and enchanting about watching a well-choreographed water show in Dubai accompanied by some beautiful music. This show goes on every 30 minutes, so be sure t catch this show during the night.

Al Bastakiya

All of the things mentioned so far in the list are modern marvels. But Al Bastakiya or Al Fahidi Al Bastakiya is an old neighborhood in Dubai. This might not sound as exciting, but after a long and exhausting day of being on your feet in the urban heart of the city, Al Fahidi Al Bastakiya offers a slice of life calm, where you can simply stroll around without any expectations or excitement. Sometimes, that is what you need.

Abra Ride at Dubai Creek

Abra Ride at Dubai Creek is a basic guided tour, that starts at the Dubai Mall, at Deira City Center, and at Madinat Jumeirah. The tour is pretty short, and the night will still be relatively young when you will be done with it, as it lasts between the hours of 7 to 8 pm, and it will cost you 130 AED. 

Overnight Desert Safari

If you go to Las Vegas and do not eat at the Bellagio, your visit will be incomplete. Similarly, if you are in Dubai and you do not take the overnight desert safari, your trip to Dubai will be incomplete. The overnight safari includes a barbeque dinner, and a musical night session, along with some adventurous activities like sand and quad biking. The cost of the trip starts from 750 AED. You will be picked up at your place in the afternoon and will be dropped off at the same location the next morning.

Star Gazing

The aurora borealis in Iceland is a must-see. But if you cannot make it to Iceland, you can easily catch the sparkling stars in Dubai. Owing to the fact that Dubai is a desert, the skies will be exceptionally clear at night. This night activity is a 12-hour affair, which starts at 10 am and ends at 10 pm. The best part about this activity is that it is free of cost, but you will need to register with the group beforehand. This will be included with the Dubai Astronomy Group, Al Thuraya Astronomy Center, Mushrif Park, Mushrif – Dubai. 

Global Village

Global Village in Dubai is an extravagant affair, with intricate pavilions, and great service. This is a seasonal event that celebrates the togetherness of the world while highlighting the beauty of unity in international affairs. It is held in the winter months, that is between November to April. Located on Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, to the east of Arabian Ranches, this is the perfect opportunity to spend some time with your family as well. The timings of Global Village are as follows – Saturday to Wednesday from 4:00 pm – 12:00 am (entry gates close at 11:30 pm); Thursday, Friday and Public Holidays from 4:00 pm – 1:00 am (entry gates close at 12:30 am); Mondays are dedicated to Families and Ladies only.
